Referring to The CW's Crisis On Infinite Earths as the most ambitious crossover in TV history still might not be enough to do it justice. This season's offering of the annual Arrowverse crossover, it combined the forces of the heroes of Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman, as the titular characters attempted to save the multiverse from complete annihilation at the hands of the Anti-Monitor.

Following a jaw-dropping midseason conclusion - which saw the villain achieve his goal and wipe out everything bar the antimatter universe (and the Vanishing Point) - Crisis returned for its final offering in a two-part installment that took place across episodes of Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow.

This two-part finale certainly went out of its way to outdo the first three episodes, as the crossover reached a conclusion that was both expected and yet completely unpredictable.
