Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s resident hacktivist-turned-operative has already been somewhat foreshadowed as potentially playing a role in Matt Murdock's life. After being exposed to the Terrigen Mists, Skye - AKA Daisy Johnson - has now activated her Inhuman powers of seismic generation. This is a departure from her comic origin, but in touch with Marvel's new emphasis on Inhumans while veering away from mutants. We learn that after the death of his father, Battlin' Jack, the young Daredevil-to-be is left to the care of St. Agnes Orphanage. Astute viewers will recognize that as the same orphanage where a young Skye was raised following a S.H.I.E.L.D team's discovery of her in China, classifying her as an "0-8-4" - an object of an unknown origin. Skye could be worked into the plot via flashbacks from their younger days at St. Agnes' (assuming they were there together) or in the present when Daredevil and the global peacekeeping force connect.
