Daredevil Season 2: 10 Things That Must Happen

It has now been almost three weeks since Marvel's Daredevil was unleashed upon an excited Netflix audience, most of whom proceeded to devour it as quickly as humanly possible. The show and its creative talent are still being lavished with praise from ecstatic fans, all while receiving critical adulation for its unique and daring take on the superhero genre.
In fact, season one may very well go down in history as a modern television masterpiece, so it mightn't be out of the realm of possibility to see The Man Without Fear pick up a few statues come awards season. Could Vincent D'Onofrio bring home an Emmy for his outstanding performance as Wilson Fisk, for example? Before April 10th many might have scoffed at this notion, but it is now a genuine possibility.
As with anything released by Marvel these days, fans are now asking themselves what's next? After all, the Marvel Cinematic Universe films are always dropping hints and setting up plot points and important characters for the next few movies in the series, so shouldn't the TV shows operate in a similar manner?
Given that the character of Daredevil has such a rich history in the comics, coupled with the few plot threads that were left dangling at the close of season one, there is no shortage of potential story avenues for the show's creative team to explore.

10. The Kingpin's Revenge
Vincent D'Onofrio's interpretation of Wilson Fisk is one of the many high-points of Daredevil. His studied intensity practically burns up the screen at times, and the character is often so compellingly written and performed that he threatens to steal the entire show. That D'Onofrio manages this feat without resorting to scenery chewing is extremely impressive.
The close of season one seemed to show Fisk accepting his true nature as the villain of his particular story, with his "I am the ill intent" monologue in the final episode standing out as an expertly played character revelation.
Therefore, it isn't a stretch to assume that Fisk will return in season two, likely under his more well-known comic book moniker, The Kingpin Of Crime. He will be out for bloody vengeance against Daredevil, who beat him in a fist fight, outed him to the media as a criminal and led to his being arrested and thrown in jail at the end of season one.
The audience has already seen how Fisk reacts to not getting his own way (just ask Anatoly, the Russian gangster who met a sticky end in Fisk's car door for "embarrassing" him). If Fisk would do this to a business colleague, just what horrors can Daredevil expect?
