With quite a lot going on, Karen is one of the characters somewhat underserved across the two trailers. While the tension between Matt and Foggy has played out in both, there was just a glimpse of a romantic relationship between Matt and Karen in the first trailer, and here's she's just seen observing some carnage, presumably caused by either the Punisher or, again given the focus of this trailer, the Yakuza. Much like Foggy, it's going to be interesting to see how Karen's relationship with Matt develops or falls apart this year as he increasingly puts himself in the line of danger. Will she be able to stand by why he constantly gets himself almost killed, or will she take Foggy's side and try to force him into hanging up the suit for good? And what about that relationship? The first trailer hinted at them being something more than friends, but this one suggests she'll be playing second fiddle to Elektra in that regard.
