The rain. The hand on the cheek. That look. It's saying that there's a lot more than just friendship between Matt and Karen these days. It might not be all that surprising, given she is a love interest of his in the comics, but this may have some considerable impact on the relationship between Matt, Karen, and Foggy. There was some sexual tension built up between the latter two last year, but now it appears his best friend is with her, so quite how will he take it? Karen becoming Matt's girlfriend would also fit in well if the rumours of villain Bullseye appearing in Season 2 are true, with basis for that storyline in the comics at least.
