10. Maggie Murdock

It surely wouldn't have been a surprise to anyone who's read the Born Again Daredevil comics, but yes, in the latter half of season three it's revealed that the sarcastic nun Sister Maggie is in fact Matt's mother, Maggie Murdock.

Though the details of the reveal and Matt being taken away from her as a child do differ somewhat, the spirit is very much in the same vein.

Considering how clumsily this could've come across, the show did a fine job grounding it and not indulging in excess melodrama for its own sake.
