The first reviews for the first half of Netflix and Marvel's Daredevil series 2 are in, and the general consensus is that it is pretty damn good. But then that shouldn't come as a surprise for anyone who saw the first series, which shook the MCU more than anyone could have imagined. Daredevil's first outing was met with much praise from both audiences and critics, and was a very solid beginning for the Marvel TV universe, which has of course been continued with Jessica Jones along with the upcoming Luke Cage, Iron Fist and eventually a team up of The Defenders on the way. It was always a gamble, as both have been portrayed live action before and both were crushing disappointments, but the rewards would be major. So, how does the second series fare against the first? How do new show runners Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez compare to series 1 show runner Steven DeKnight? And have the latest takes on The Punisher and Elektra erased the previous sins committed in their names? The early reviews paint a good - and exciting - picture...
