With the younger Martin Stein having now missed out on the opportunity of meeting his future wife, its all doom and gloom for the older Professor Stein. Well, until Rip Hunter takes him on a little walk. Rip would show Stein his younger self all loved up with his would-be bride, meaning that Steins ring will remain as it was. After all, Rip Hunter is a literal master of time and so knows how to work the system, as it were, and he managed to get the younger Stein back where he needed to be. Hunter makes a very valid point, though, when he makes reference to how Stein and the rest of the Legends made a big sacrifice to help him, so the least he can do is to make sure that things work out well for them in return.
