From his appearances in The Flash to date, Mick Rory, aka Heat Wave, has largely been portrayed as a goon-for-hire who finds himself at the side of the ever-charismatic Captain Cold. Heat Wave has most definitely been the side dish to Colds main course, and hes had very little to do bar fire the odd flame here and there. In DCs Legends of Tomorrow, while hes not being expanded and made into a massively deep and meaningful character, Heat Wave is having a little more to do. And that stuff is making for TV gold. What was most impressive here from the character, and certainly a massive WTF moment given who he was talking to, was his absolute lack of care when it came to having beef with Damien Darhk. After all, Darhk is somebody who can literally drain the life out of someone. Does that bother Heat Wave? Does it hell!
