Long-time DC fans will have been grinning from ear to ear when Firestorm was referred to as The Nuclear Man during the battle between our Legends and Vandal Savage. This is a moniker that Firestorm has often gone by over the years, and so it was great to see it come into play here. Added to that, wed also get to see this hot-headed hero living up to the nickname as he literally absorbs the blast of a nuclear bomb. In these few moments, Legends of Tomorrow made Firestorm out to be a big deal, and rightly so, for this is a hero with near-endless possibilities and one who should play a pivotal part as the show moves forward.
