Here, despite running dangerously low on oxygen, Palmer pushes himself to fix the Waveriders ongoing issues to the point that he actually passes out in space. Never a cool thing. Just about managing to make it back inside the Waverider, Ray then goes into cardiac arrest. To make things even more nervy, Gideon kindly informs Kendra that The Atom has less than a 3720/1 chance of survival. All that was missing here was Han Solo popping up to quip Never tell me the odds. What would actually happen, though, is Kendra would pound on Rays chest until he was brought back into the land of the living.
