4. The Style Of The Flashbacks

Considering that Kendra Saunders has lived over 200 lives, it’s mighty convenient for the show that we’re only ever flashed-back to 2 of said lives: her first life as Priestess Chay-Ara, and her life as the mother of Aldus Boardman.

Whilst the story arc itself may not have been the greatest part of Progeny, the flashbacks involving Kendra, Carter and Aldus were beautifully shot, perfectly encapsulating the feeling and tone of the moment and time period.

The slightly washed out, duller pallet of these scenes were a big highlight of this latest Legends episode, even though, as mentioned, the scenes themselves were a little so-so in terms of quality.
