The image of Mick Rory roaring "Outta here, suckers!" at the screen before jumping out of an aircraft might be permanently etched into this writer's mind, but it also evokes imagery of a different off-the-wall superhero property.

The truth is that the scene is eerily similar to Deadpool 2 when loudmouth Wade Wilson and his X-Force also jump out of the back of a plane in pretty badass fashion. Even the green overhead lighting is the same.

Sure, Mick's jump lacks the finesse of Deadpool's skydive, but it kind of makes sense for DC's most self-aware property to throw in a little reference to Marvel's - and in all honesty, they gave it to the perfect character.
