Every single classic Disney moment in one place on top of almost everything they've acquired over the years, including Star Wars, Marvel, the Simpsons, it's a Disney fan's dream.

Looking through the library it's incredible to see how the House of Mouse has evolved over the years, from humble cartoon origins to pioneer animators to media empire. There's no overstating, for better or worse, how much influence the company has over the film and television industry as a whole.

For old to new, there's literally something for everyone on Disney Plus. That said, there's always some stops you need to make first, be it for nostalgia, genuine excitement, morbid curiousity or just putting on something to put on for your kids while they're stuck inside. So here's a look at 10 movies and shows you need to watch the moment that download finishes.

10. Mary Poppins

You must, must, must start with a classic, and they don't get much better than this.

This 1964 classic ranks as not only one of Disney's best, but one of the favourites of the man himself. It's a film that everyone has in their home media collection, and even if they don't, everyone's seen it at least once.

The iconic flying nanny is arguably Julie Andrews' best performance, bringing in a mix of whimsy, optimism and mystery. Everything she does is not only to better the children under her care, but to bring their father closer to their lives and be an actual father to them, rather than a workaholic. Somewhat a suitable message in today's climate when everyone is forced to stay at home and spend quality time with their children and families.

Regardless of everything going on at the moment, Disney Plus is the home of some of the most magical films ever made, easily capable of making you feel like a child again. This film is the epitomy of that sentiment and is the ideal place to start your journey through Disney's vast catalogue.
