11. Gotham

Where to even begin with Gotham? Originally envisioned as a procedural designed to follow the escapades of the GCPD, the Batman prequel threw the rulebook out the Arkham Asylum window and went total batsh*t because why the hell not?

It's a move that ultimately benefitted the show because what we ended up getting was a gloriously unapologetic tale of the Dark Knight that reinvented some of his greatest villains, all while documenting a young Bruce Wayne's journey to becoming the Caped Crusader of his future as Jim Gordon attempted to clear up the GCPD.

It's not for everyone, but Gotham is, without question, a bloody hoot!
