10. She's Gotta Have It

Another movie now being given the TV treatment by Netflix, this one is a take on Spike Lee's 1986 flick She's Gotta Have It, with the director himself overseeing the series as well.

The film centres around a woman, Nola, and how she juggles three different men in her life. It was a major breakthrough at the time, launching Lee's career, and the TV show will expand on that plot. Netflix have ordered 10 half-hour episodes, all of which will be directed by Lee.
