Netflix have come a long way in the last four years. Cast your mind back to this time in 2013, and they'd yet to produce any original content, much less enjoy success with it.

Then came House of Cards and Orange Is The New Black (everyone chooses to forget about Hemlock Grove, and who can blame them?), which changed Netflix and, subsequently, the TV industry.

Now the company has over 100 original TV series, movies, stand-up specials, and documentaries to its name - and that's only going to continue to soar in 2017 (though we're only looking at TV series here).

There are new shows with some serious A-list talent, adaptations of beloved book series and critically adored movies, and, of course, plenty of Marvel superheroes.

Added to the returning shows that everyone already loves (or hates in some cases), and this is looking like another huge year for Netflix, and one to be pretty excited about for anyone with a subscription.

40. Flaked - Season 2

Despite negative reviews and little hype upon release, Netflix have decided to give this Will Arnett vehicle another season.

The series, which was created by Arnett himself alongside Arrested Development's Mitch Hurwitz, focuses on Chip, a self-help guru who struggles to stay ahead of his own lies.

After an eight episode first season last year, it's getting a reduced run this time - with just six episodes expected to air later in 2017. Maybe then Arnett and Hurwitz will get round to Season 5 of Arrested Development.
