Netflix's first Brazilian production arrived late last year, and delivered enough to earn a second season, which will likely once again arrive in December.

The show, which was partly directed by Oscar nominated cinematographer Cesar Charlone (the superb City of God), is set in a dystopian future where the world is divided between the rich and poor, but people are given a chance to move to the 'better' part. Only a few of these actually succeed though. You can probably guess exactly how many.

As we'll see more on this list, Netflix are clearly committed to foreign-language series as they look to succeed in global markets, so giving this another season makes sense in that regard.
