Episode: Petarded Whoever came up with the idea of treating fire trucks as if they were lions on the African plains was on some pretty good acid at the time - but as a joke, it really didn't work. It was strange, not funny. The only credit that can really be given to this joke is that the writers at least had it pay off later in the episode, when Peter is stalked by a fire truck, attempts to shoot it, and is then mauled by it. That scene was mildly better, but really, it garnered half a laugh at best (and that's both scenes combined, frankly).At least this one can be considered a valiant, if failed, effort.
