10. Using Jillian

Starting off with one of Brian’s recurring faults, and also one which is fairly tame by his usual standards.

Jillian, Brian’s dim witted but beautiful girlfriend, is often too stupid to realise Brian is using her, but that doesn’t make it any better. Brian dates Jillian, hates the way he’s mocked for her lack of intelligence, so dumps her and returns to her only for casual sex, again and again.

Once it turns out Jillian is engaged though, Brian becomes hellbent on winning her back, even though he has no real interest in her and merely sees her as his property. It’s gross in the extreme and exactly the type of behaviour Brian frequently displays around his romantic partners.

The worst thing is that he clearly enjoys the intellectual superiority he has over Jillian, and so refuses to ever let her go even when she moves on to someone else. However, when he dates Lauren Conrad from The Hills, he completely loathes being the less intelligent one in the relationship.

Brian’s poor treatment of the people he’s dating will be common theme here, but no one is on the receiving end of it more than Jillian.
