Popular sci-fi film series Back To The Future is also given a hat tip in Family Guy in the season 4 episode "The Courtship of Stewie's Father". Here, we see Doc Brown at the end of the first film telling Marty and Jennifer that they have to come to the future to fix their kids' "situation". The situation? Their daughter marries a black man, which, of course, does nothing to offend Marty - though Doc's racist comments put a strain on his relationship with the pair.
