Not exactly a reference or homage to any film in particular, much like the 'Mobster Film Genre Parody', this can be applied to pretty much all of actor Morgan Freeman's works. The smooth voiced Freeman is responsible for a lot of Hollywood's best films, with a pure-gold filmography listing the likes of The Dark Knight, Se7en and, of course, the Shawshank Redemption (a bit more on that, shortly). This clip is more of a homage to the living legend that is Morgan Freeman, who proves here that his narration skills come perhaps a little too easily. "Like a Twinkie, like a Twinkie..."
