Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, the classic novel by Roald Dahl and later 1971 film adaptation starring Gene Wilder, was once paid homage to by Family Guy. Replacing the chocolate factory and oompa loompas however was 'Pawtucket Brewery' and a group of alcohol-loving punters marvelling at a spectacular 'beer room' complete with a waterfall and river of booze. There's even a pop at the Irish as "Willy Wonka' regales Peter Griffin and co. with a tune.
