Family Guy: Every Season Ranked Worst To Best (So Far)

3. Season 2

Even though the first season laid a solid foundation for Family Show, it was during Season 2 where it really thrived. Not only was Meg's original voice actress Lacey Chabert replaced with the talented Mila Kunis, her character was rewritten from a sweet teenage daughter into the Griffin's personal punching bag - one of the best recurring jokes on the show.

Although Stewie's obsession with world domination was originally prevalent, it was toned down during this time to give him a more fleshed out personality.

Season 2 also introduced iconic gags like Peter hurting his knee and the Big Chicken feud that were so iconic, they've become a staple of the series. The animation can be a bit wonky sometimes, especially during the action set pieces but, considering nearly all the jokes land, this is a small gripe.

Even though bad ratings of this season led to the show's cancellation, it didn't matter. Syndication and DVD sales proved Family Guy wasn't just another entertaining show - it was a cultural icon set to stay on television for a long, long time.
