The series premiere was enjoyable, though when you boil it down to the basic facts, we could've guessed it all beforehand. 'Strange virus affecting people, dysfunctional family, society shows firsts minor signs of cracking'. From here, the show could go anywhere. It looks likely that the whole first series will remain in LA, which is a good move, but now it's a simple case of watching civilisation crumble with the focus shining brightly on a family who have already experienced the terror long before the majority of others. The Fear creators have a huge scope, blank canvas and no source material to abide to, let's hope they're bold.
