Was Friends really done when it ended?

All good things must come to an end, but sometimes, we wish they'd gone on a little longer.

Friends is a sitcom like no other. It's a straightforward, fun time that focuses on characters going about their lives, and despite having been over for close to two decades, it still has millions of viewers per day.

The show really is the most popular and influential sitcom of all time, and the conclusion to its tenth season was a tear-jerking, heart-pounding, emotional ride that concluded the series perfectly. But, today, it's time to discuss what would have happened if the New York inhabitants found themselves running just a little further.

While the series tied up most of its loose ends, there were still a few points bouncing around that were left unanswered and some aspects of life that we never got to see the group go through.

Just a precursor; in this hypothetical scenario, it's best to imagine that the events of Joey's spin-off show are null and void. But, to be fair, there aren't many who will be too disappointed in pretending that never happened.

10. Monica And Chandler's Suburban Life

You don't need an internet article to tell you that suburban and urban life are two sides of completely different coins. Living in the city compared to living in the outskirts are entirely different ways of living, which is why it's a shame we never got to see Monica and Chandler rising to the occasion and adjusting.

After moving to a quieter neighbourhood to allow their children to live somewhere safer, Monica and Chandler must have gone through some struggles. Adjusting to the commute, dealing with a Home Owners Association, the struggles of parenting themselves, there was so much potential to seeing how this beloved pair would handle those hurdles.

Of course, closing the show before their move was an excellent way to give the characters a happily ever after. But, as we all know, those don't really exist and seeing what happens after ever after is often a priceless experience.

We all know they would have done a great job, but it would have been nice to see it.
