10. Post Naked Pictures Of Amy And Leela Online

This entry is pretty tame by Bender’s standards, but that just goes to show you what his standards are like. It’s a quick throwaway gag in the episode where the crew explore the internet (only for Leela to falsely think she’s found her long lost home planet), but it’s still a fairly awful thing to do to your co-workers.

They stumble across a website called ‘Amy Wong Naked’, to which Amy naturally gets offended. Bender admits he uploaded the pictures, but that it’s only Amy’s head on someone else’s body. Leela’s reaction upon leaning inside suggests it’s in fact the cyclops’ body he’s using.

This raises several questions though. How did Bender have Leela’s naked photos? Why put Amy’s face on them? Why was Leela taking naked photos in the first place? This might be slightly overthinking a cheap gag.

Bender’s whole conduct online is both hilarious and terrible though. He poses as a sexy nurse and charges money in a chat room, only to start a conversation about the Knicks. At least he doesn’t obliterate the only other known Cyclops like Fry does. Although it does turn out the Cyclops is an alien scammer, so it was for the best, really.
