Robb Stark's demise has to be one of the most brutal moments in an already harsh show. He looks like a genuine contender to become the saviour of Westeros but its all undone after he married for his heart's desires instead of a bridge. The Young Wolf married for love but ended up being stabbed through the heart at the very wedding where he was initially intended to be the groom.
