10. Explore Areas The Show Can't

Game Of Thrones already exists in a sprawling world, one it's difficult to keep track of. From Beyond-The-Wall right at the top of the North, to Dorne at the South, and the likes of Braavos and Meereen across the Narrow Sea, it's a huge universe that these characters exist in. 

Unsurprisingly, there's still vast swathes of areas that the series hasn't really been able to touch upon, and never will, because the characters are never going to go there.

A prequel has less narrative restrictions. In Season 5 we had a little glimpse of Old Valyria, but it was just passing by it. How great would it be to see the place in all of its former glory?

Likewise, we could journey to the far North, to the place the White Walkers come from, or even stretch out to Asshai and the Shadow Sea. It would really broaden the horizons of the series, and bring such fantastical places to life.
