Game Of Thrones: 12 Big Questions That Must Be Answered In Season 7
4. Will Jaime Oppose Cersei?
Jaime arrives back in King's Landing just in time to see his beloved Cersei - the woman he loves and would do anything for - crowned the new Queen. Of course, this comes after their son has committed suicide, and she's destroyed a big part of the city with wildfire.
Jaime, unsurprisingly, doesn't look too pleased to see her sitting on the Iron Throne. By unleashing wildfire and burning people to death, she's become the very thing he fought so hard to prevent. He broke his vows and destroyed his reputation in order to stop the Mad King from doing that, and now his twin sister has become the Mad Queen.
Presumably he'll start off by trying to reason with her, but now her children are dead it's hard to imagine Cersei having any reason left. Maggy the Frog's prophecy positioned Jaime as one of the contenders to kill Cersei - the valonqar, aka little brother - so are we going to see that happen in Season 7? Jaime's story has been about redemption, and saving Westeros from another mad ruler, who also happens to be the person he loves, would be a poetically tragic way to achieve that.
