Music plays a big part in Game of Thrones, often as a subtle foreshadowing of events to come or just as songs that are sung in a folksy sort of way. As it turns out, a lot of musicians have actually made sneaky appearances in the show. Snow Patrols Gary Lightbody rides a horse and leads a chorus of Westerosi classic The Bear and the Maiden Fair, while Coldplays drummer Will Champion appears as a percussionist during the infamous Red Wedding. In season 4 the band Sigur Ros play the Rains of Castamere at Joffreys wedding, and are later pelted with coins by the King. Finally, season 5 saw Mastadon play wildlings in Hardhome.
