Game Of Thrones: 5 Deadliest Places In Westeros

By Michael Potts /

5. The Twins - 32

Walder Frey may seem like a reasonable enough man. He's blunt, he's grumpy, he looks suspiciously like the groundskeeper at Hogwarts, but at least he's kind enough to let you cross his pretty bridge. Oh, but you haven't got anything to offer him just yet. Okay, just pledge to marry one of his daughters on the way home, that should be fairly simple, right? WRONG. Rule Number 1 of Westeros travel: Never falsely betroth yourself to a Frey girl. In fact, if Walder Frey ever invites you to one of the plentiful weddings at The Twins, make sure its a day that you're conveniently washing your armour. The Twins have rarely even featured in Game of Thrones, yet there've been 32 deaths in its short run, mainly down to the Red Wedding antics which saw Robb Stark, his wife, his unborn son, and his mother Catelyn all chopped, slit, and stabbed beyond repair, as well as their entire army. Don't do it, don't go.
