Game Of Thrones Casting Seven New Characters For Season 8
1. Sailor & Guards
Sailor: Aged 35-50, he's "a rough-and-ready sea-faring type with a weathered face and strong presence."
The Ironborn are still going to have a fairly prominent role this year, with Euron working for Cersei and Theon chasing after him, so there's a strong chance he's appearing with at least one of the Greyjoys.
Guard 1: In his 20s, he's "physically very fit, able to handle himself in any fight."
Guard 2: In his 30’s, "tall, and athletic with a military feel." This one will interact with a leading cast member, but it's only a one-line part, and they're looking for a white actor.
There's not a great deal to go on there, although the casting call for Guard 2 does confirm production will be in Spain this November. The show has used various locations across the country, including parts used for King's Landing, Oldtown, and Dragonstone, any of which would fit the description here.
