Davos Seaworth was one of those characters who audiences instantly loved, bringing an air of wisdom and humour to the harsh events surrounding him.

No characters were as consistently endearing and genuine as Davos without meeting a cruel end, and seeing him go from supporter of Stannis to close friend and advisor to Jon Snow was an absolute joy.

The final season may have lessened his role slightly, but honestly, we're just glad he got a happy ending after all he'd been through.
