I was lonely and afraid. Cersei has had one almighty fall this season. After originally using the Faith Militant to her own ends, it has come back to bite her as her own crimes were revealed, and she was thrown in a cell of her own. Now, after being completely broken down, shes ready to look for forgiveness - but will the High Sparrow be willing to provide it. As it is, it wont be up to him to pass judgement, but the Gods. Will they have mercy, and just what is Cersei going to have to die in order to earn it? It has been building up to this moment for some time now, and its one readers of the book are very excited to see play out on television, so hopefully it wont disappoint. In the image above she's looking much more like the Cersei we know - is she simply steeling herself for what's to come, or does she have one last trick up her sleeve? Theres a couple of other loose ends to tie up related to Cersei and the Faith, such as the fate of Margaery and Loras Tyrell and the judgement theyll have to face, the weakened position of King Tommens reign, and the mysterious experiment of Qyburns.
