In a toss up between Daznaks Pit and Cerseis walk of penance, the Pit triumphs - just. But both scenes will likely occur in the same episode - the deadly episode 9, perhaps? Showing both of the shows strongest female characters broken would certainly make a thought-provoking episode akin to previous episode 9s. Onset pictures have revealed that Daznaks Pit is indeed occurring in the upcoming season: Daenerys, Messandei, Hizdahr, Daario, Jorah and Tyrion have all be spotted on set filming the cataclysmic scenes, and these pictures will certainly excite many. Daznaks Pit involves the return of Drogon, who is enticed back to Meereen following the sound of battle and the stench of blood. He rains carnage upon the pit and its up to Dany to save her city. She takes to his back and flies him away, leaving many questioning whether or not she survives. If Dany does indeed depart this season dont be surprised to see her have a much reduced role in season 6. Barristan Selmy of course takes the forefront in the latter part of A Dance With Dragons, so he is likely to assume such a role in the next season, with Dany only appearing towards the end.
