The Three-Eyed Raven is one of the least talked about, most intriguing, ultimately mystifying characters in the show. He's only uttered a few words in his few seconds of screen time, but he's surely got a major part to play after such a long, often tedious, journey to reach him. However, the raven won't return in quite the same form, as Max von Sydow will take over from Struan Rodger in Season 6. The veteran actor, who has a role in the upcoming Star Wars film, is not expected to feature heavily on the screen, but his impact is said to be major for the plot, presumably to develop Bran's skills.
