Fair play to Game of Thrones, they've kept the charade up a long time. Since Jon Snow was stabbed to death back in the Season 5 finale, fans have went crazy wondering if, how, and when their favourite brooding bastard would be making his return, because he couldn't actually be dead, right? And if he is, then someone will resurrect him, surely? All summer, and now into autumn, everyone and anyone involved with show has toed the party line: Jon Snow is dead, and he isn't coming back. Their commitment to what is essentially a lie to fans is admirable, or at least as admirable as a lie can be (I guess the fact that he is dead, and being resurrected, gets them out of that one). Even President Obama couldn't get the truth out of them. Now, though, winter is coming, and they've finally revealed something that all but confirms his return. The first poster for Season 6 was recently unveiled, and Jon Snow was its bloodied star. You hardly make a dead character the poster boy for your show, so it basically confirms what we've known all along (and had spoilt by set leaks), that he will be back, someway, somehow. Jon's return, while greatly welcomed, will obviously have a big impact on the show; it's a main character coming back to life. After all, what is dead may never die, but rises again harder and stronger.
