Game Of Thrones Season 6: 8 Things That Don't Make Any Sense (So Far)
8. The Teleporting Sand Snakes
It's no secret that the Sand Snakes' story line from season five is regarded as one of the worst inclusions in the show's history, simultaneously cringe-worthy, poorly acted and featuring some questionable (at best) writing. It's not particularly surprising, then, that the show has decided to off that entire storyline for season six, but even this has been rather clunky.
At the end of season five we see the Sand Snakes on the port at Dorne having just poisoned Myrcella Baratheon. Jaime and Myrcella share an emotional goodbye, and that's that. Trystane is also on his way to King's Landing.
However, at the start of season six, the Sand Snakes have magically teleported onto Trystane's ship, despite being clearly left behind. It's not even like they're there for some insignificant reason: they precede to brutally murder Trystane. As one of the steps in completely excommunicating the Dorne plot line, it's pretty fitting that it went down in such a nonsensical way.
