Game Of Thrones Season 6 Trailer 2 Breakdown: 31 Things You Need To See

The dead are coming.

And just like that, we're reminded how ridiculously high every stake in Game Of Thrones is as we hurtle towards the April 24th debut of season 6. If the haunting memory that Jon Snow is dead and MIGHT not actually be coming back wasn't enough drama for you, the new trailer for the show has dialled the action and the sense of dread right up.

This is not a one man show, and though his presence is still felt in the trailer, this very much feels like a symbolic passing of the torch from that issue to every other one in Westeros. We've got vengeance to expect, and war of course, White Walkers advancing south, Arya's training to be a Faceless Man and Dany's situation in Mereen...

And that's not even half of it. This is going to be one hell of a season, and it's impossible to see a situation where all of our most beloved characters make it out alive by the time the final credits roll.

So what did we learn from the exceptional new trailer?

31. Ser Davos Stands Guard

Whatever the outcome of this situation, lines have been drawn in the Night's Watch ranks. Both Eddison Tollett and Grenn have taken their swords up alongside Davos, and presumably it will fall to them to either flee with Snow's body or stay and add a few more crows to the pile of dead.

Hopefully with Ollie added to the top of the pile like a satisfying little cherry.
