Game of Thrones Season 6: 10 Things That Absolutely Shouldn’t Happen

2. Season Finale Ends With A Shock Death

Episode 9 has traditionally been the show-stopping episode of each season, though the latest run gave us the Snow shocker on top of Hardhome a couple of episodes prior to that, with a barbecue at the Meereenese fighting pit sandwiched in the middle.

It was a classic ending; big character dies, fade to black, credits roll, but Thrones fans are a demanding bunch and will be hoping for all-new ways to inspire shock and awe. The ending to Season 6 shouldn't be another big death, that would be child's play. It should be a fresh method of blowing minds.

The White Walkers are cranking up the pressure on Westeros, and while the Battle of Hardhome would be tough to match in terms of sheer scale and fast-paced action, a revealing snapshot into their lives, motives, culture, and next move would be a stunning way to round off the season.
