Game Of Thrones Season 7: 10 Huge Questions After The New Trailer
10. What Will Sansa's Role Be?
In Season 1, Sansa Stark was a whiny spoiled brat who was literally the only person in all of Westeros that couldn't see just how psychopathic Joffrey was. Now, in Season 7, the second trailer has Sansa set up as the most important character.
The trailer opens with a shot of Sansa (narrated by Littlefinger), and ends with a narration of her own. Being the focus of both the beginning and end sends a massive sign that Sansa will have a very large role to play in the season.
However, what exactly will that role be? Presumably Littlefinger will try to turn her against Jon. Just how successful he will be remains to be seen, although getting assaulted by Jon in the first trailer is not a great sign for Lord Baelish.
Then there's the question of the tension teased between Jon and Sansa at the end of Season 6. Following Lyanna's rousing speech declaring the "bastard son of Ned Stark" to be the King in the North, Sansa is one of few that look less than enthused.
After all, Jon might have fought on the front lines against Ramsay, but ultimately it was Sansa that executed him. After Jon jeopardized their entire plan by rushing into battle following RIckon's death, it was Sansa's secret alliance with the Vale that saved the day. Yet, Jon gets all the glory.
Could she try to usurp the throne from her "half-brother?" Or will she prefer to remain in her pack of wolves?
