Here's a question for you: what value is a spy if he cannot tell you that Jon Snow is the king of the North (which Tyrion had to learn from Melisandre), or that your attack on King's Landing is about to be attacked by the Iron Fleet?

What on Earth has Varys been doing? He's only valuable as long as he's fulfilling some sort of role on Dany's team: sitting around not collecting useful information and waiting to be killed off just makes him the fifth Sand Snake.

Varys has lost his touch and badly. Well, that or Dany's suspicions of him are a little more correct than we could ever have assumed...
