3. People Are Going To Die
There is absolutely no way all of the characters who head to the Dragonpit are going to get out of there alive (or half alive or whatever The Mountain is). You only have to consider the circumstances of the meeting to know that will be the case: why else would Cersei choose the Dragonpit as the meeting place?
It's not just a symbolic power gesture (since it's basically a monument to Targaryen failure), it's also a strategically beneficial location, perfect for an ambush (so maybe we will get to see the Golden Company after all). Or to have wildfire underneath it, or something similar.
She definitely looks like she's up to something...
And Tyrion knows it...
All we need to know now is how it happens. Because it's definitely going to.
And when it does, we'll find out the reason why there are so many expendable figures there - those Dothraki are the equivalent of the Red Shirts from last episode, and even some of the more key supporting figures (Jorah, Theon, Pod, even Davos) are pretty expendable in the grand scheme of things.
Which is precisely why they're there. To be expended.
