6. Cersei Reveals Her Plan
Jon, Daenerys et al plan on presenting the wight to Cersei to convince her of the real threat, but the Queen has a few ideas of her own brewing away, and they probably won't be for the betterment of the realm.
First, there's the question of whether Cersei will believe or care about the wights and White Walkers, since she's so focused on the Iron Throne (and a little bit mad with it), but it's plausible she'll play along.
There's no way, though, that she would genuinely commit to a fight against the White Walkers and an alliance with a Targaryen, so what else is she plotting? The Dragonpit did once have stores of wildfire under it, so maybe she's planning on just blowing them all up. That's probably far too identical to The Winds of Winter to actually happen, but it's a tactic she knows works for her, so it wouldn't be beyond possibility for her to think of it and have someone thwart her.
Or maybe it'll be something smaller, like having the Mountain (and/or the Golden Company) spring a surprise attack. It feels impossible that this'll go down without a couple of deaths, especially as Cersei tries to win a game the others aren't playing.
