Qyburn should be having a great time in Season 8: while everyone else is either fighting or fleeing the dead, he might have some opportunities to indulge in his favourite pastime and examine them.

He's already shown a keen interesting in wights and, honestly, it wouldn't be surprising to see him trying to learn more about them or even make his own.
That obsession, though, along with the fact he's a key part of Team Cersei, means there will be lots of chances for him to be killed off too, and there's no reason to keep him alive, nor is he likely to stay that way, since he's no fighter.
