2. Daenerys Targaryen
Daenerys Targaryen was a coin flip of a character, and in The Bells, that coin finally landed. Daenerys has had just about everything taken away from her, she's lost those she cares about, she's defeated the White Walkers but still remains unloved and isolated, and all she has now is fear. It was fear she used on the people of King's Landing, burning a good portion of the city and its residents.
Is there any way of coming back from that?
People have murdered before and lived. They've even ruled and been loved. It's not a clear cut case of good and bad, but with Daenerys' extreme actions, at the very least she is going to be removed from power. But given her current steadfast belief in her destiny, how will they take that away from her? It's not impossible she willingly gives it up and retreats from Westeros to live a quieter life elsewhere, but heading into the finale it's definitely setup that Daenerys is going to have to be killed in order to be stopped, whether by Jon, Arya, or someone else.
