Game Of Thrones Season 4 Trailer: 10 Things We Learned

6. The Wildlings Attack

The Wildlings are angling for a big attack and we see this in several places in the trailer. Amusingly enough the first we see of the battle may in fact be near the end. We see a lone rider under a flag of truce riding slowly across a battlefield. This could be Jon Snow, being forced out to murder Mance Rayder dishonourably by Allister Thorne, who we see later in the trailer. We know for certain that we see the Wildlings €“ including Ygritte €“ attacking a camp of some sort south of The Wall. Then we see inside the tunnel through The Wall once again, and then Jon giving a speech warning the Night's Watch of the imminent attack by the Wildlings. He's certainly looking a great deal better than when Ygritte tried to turn him into a pincushion at the end of season three. Then we see what could be a giant or half giant trying to run down a gate within the tunnel. It isn't Hodor €“ the chap's hair is too long €“ but it is someone of an equal size and stature. Of course, we then see a variety of shots from the battle between the Wildings and the Night's Watch, and more importantly the forces of Stannis Baratheon who are on their way to help out, courtesy of Davos Seaworth's new-found reading ability.
