It's easy to get so wrapped up in a new TV series that you completely overlook the fact that countless fans have already read the stories you're watching on the screen. Long before you were ever introduced to Rick Grimes and the gang, The Walking Dead comic book readers were well ahead, and in many ways they still are. Characters with breath in their TV lungs will have already been torn to shreds in the pages of Robert Kirkman's original creation which first launched back in 2003. While other characters such as Daryl haven't even made it into the comic books. This makes it tough for the creators to cast the right people, but how close did The Walking Dead come to replicating the characters from the comic books? Let's find out.
