Good Omens Teaser Trailer: 10 Things You Might've Missed
10. Adam, Eve, And The Flaming Sword
Twice, viewers see the Flaming Sword that Aziraphale once owned when he was guarding the Garden of Eden.
Once was in a short scene where a man and a woman in the desert—presumably, if not obviously Adam and Eve—are fighting off a lion (or more accurately, stabbing in its general direction) with it, and the second time was with Aziraphale and Crowley (who at this point was still named Crawly) watching them from the Garden, as the rain began to come down and Aziraphale covered Crowley's head with one of his wings.
It's a fun and impressive visual, illustrating just how long the angel and demon have truly been friends, and just how impressive and powerful Aziraphale was, to be granted such a weapon, even if he seems no more intimidating than a foppish English bookseller these days.
